What is going on?
By: Tom | June 29th, 2009Well Since Martinez left the club futures of nearly every player have been up in the air. Even before Martinez left the Liberty stadium players such as Orlandi, and O’leary were out of contract and may or may not have been given new deals. Owain Tudor Jones was sold in the midst of Martinezgate and Dorris de vires looked set to reject the new deal. However now it seems de vires is set to re sign, but the futures of Orlandi and O’leary are still unknown. Furthermore a fee agreed with Liverpool for former loanee, Paul Anderson was agreed prior to the exit of Martinez but now it appears the deal is over and Forest have signed him. More concerning is the potential sale of Rangel, Bodde and Scotland would leave the club rich beyond our wildest dreams but poor in terms of quality. Things need to be sorted out and quickly because the club, fans and players need to know where the future lies and what is in store for next season.
